Located at the center of the town, Downtown Bozeman offers a number of interesting activities for locals and tourists. Some of the Bozeman events that you shouldn't miss are the Art Walks, Music on Main and the Downtown Bozeman Crazy Days.

Art Walks features several art galleries and businesses that display their artworks along Main Street and at the Emerson Center for Arts and Culture. The galleries showcase different artists' openings and receptions, and also offer hors d'oeuvres and free refreshments.

Music on Main offers a day full of music. It runs from June 30 to August 18. If you're vacationing with your kids, make sure to bring them from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for exciting activities such as face painting and the carpenter program. Your family will also enjoy eating from several food vendors that are open until late at night, and shopping from numerous booths scattered around the streets.

Established in 2001 by a pair of locals, The Children's Museum of Bozeman aims to develop the overall health and well being of children in the town by providing supportive, economical, fun, safe and educational opportunities to the whole family. The museum features different programs and sensory exhibits that enhance one's curiosity and self-confidence. The place hosts various exhibits such as the Aquarium, which is filled with local Montana fish from the Yellowstone River. The Puppet Theater which showcases charming puppet characters shown in a stage play. The De-Construction Zone explains how objects work, how they look inside and much more.
