Somers Cove Marina is accessible by ferry. This enormous marina has many things to do. There are plenty of boating and sailing charters available if you would like to cruise Chesapeake Bay. Fishing is also a big activity in the marina. You'll find several places that provide equipment and bait for fishing trips. If shopping or dining interests you, then check out the many stores and restaurants in the area. You can find great seafood at any of the eateries in Somers Cove. Reedville, Virginia is just a ferry or boat ride away from Tylerton. This historic town is home to the Reedville Fisherman's Museum. The museum has information and exhibits on the town's maritime history. You'll see galleries filled with all types of maritime equipment. Most of these exhibits are permanent and some have traveled to the museum from other places.
