The Quad City Air Show is held on June 26 and 27 every year at the Davenport Municipal Airport, and it is one of the most anticipated Quad Cities events. This show provides excellent entertainment for both adults and children, and it is a perfect event for families. Spectators will get to see a wide range of aircraft throughout the two-day event, including fighter jets such as the F/A-18C, Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star, F-15SE, VFA-122, Northrop T-38 and F/A-18E as well as acrobatic and vintage planes such as the P-51 Mustang, Hawker Sea Fury, Super Chipmunk and others. The air show will feature well-known performers such as Jim "Fang" Maroney, Clyde Zellers, Tora!Tora!Tora!, Greg Poe and Mike Keenum, and parachuting teams US Navy Leap Frogs and Canadian Sky Hawks.
Tickets for the Quad City Air Show are priced at $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children aged 6 to 10 at the gate. A discount price of $10.00 is available for adult tickets purchased in advance. If you are driving to the Davenport Municipal Airport from your Rock Island Bed and Breakfast, you have to pay a parking fee of $5.00.
Taste of the Quad Cities

If you are vacationing in Rock Island during the month of June, the Taste of Quad Cities festival is one of the Quad Cities events that you should not miss. This two-day food festival provides an opportunity for you to taste an extensive variety of cuisines as well as watch live performances by some of the finest musicians in the Quad Cities. More than 40 restaurants and pubs will be offering their signature dishes and beverages along River Drive in the downtown area of Moline, and each of them is required to sell a $1.00 dish. As such, you will be able to taste many different types of dishes without having to spend a lot of money. Live music will be played from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on both days of the event, featuring talented musicians such as Clint Black, Minus Six, Trippin' Billies, Mike and Joe, Hi-Fi, Wicked Liz and the Bellyswirls, and the Parrots of the Caribbean. Other than great food and music, the festival will also feature a fireworks display, a poker run and a kids fest.
