Mesa Verde National Park
Location: The entrance is about 35 miles from Durango, Southwestern Colorado, and about a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Mancos Valley.

The Mesa Verde National Park is featured in the New York Times "1000 Places To See Before You Die". Here you can enjoy the beautiful cliff dwellings and over 4,000 known archeological sites. A vehicle is necessary to see Mesa Verde.

Historical Town of Mancos

In the Mancos Valley, there is the historical town of Mancus, where there are more art galleries per resident than any other city in the United States.
