Pawnee National Grasslands

The Pawnee National Grasslands surround the town of Grover. These grasslands are a huge open expanse of land which are ideal for hiking, bike riding and horse back riding. The Pawnee Buttes are over 500 feet above the plains. These are very beautiful and great for photographs. If you decide to walk along the hiking trail then you will  see lots of birds and wildlife along the way.

The world's first rodeo was held in Deer Trail, Colarado. This was held in 1869 and so Colorado has a very special connection to Rodeos. You will be able to find rodeos all over the state including in Grover. The Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame is a short drive away from Grover but it's certainly worth the journey.

Oliver Reservoir State Recreation Area

This is a large reservoir which is ideal for all sorts of activities. The reservoir takes up 1,180 acres and has many attractions. It's ideal for picnicking, hiking and camping. There are also plenty of fishing opportunities and places to go swimming.

San Isabel

San Isabel national forests are ideal for anyone interested in hiking and getting back to nature. There are lots of different hiking trails where you will see some interesting wildlife. There are also lakes in the forest which are ideal for boating and fishing, not far from your Grover Inn.
