Originally built in 1888 by famed architect Erasmus Nagle, the mansion was converted into an elegant bed-and-breakfast in 1997. Grand and spacious, the three-story structure oozes luxury, from the furnishings to the stately spire that anchors the building's southeast corner. The rooms feature lavish, late-19th-century style, tempered by a few modern perks - CD players, televisions, and modem-ready phones. Half of the rooms are located in the main building, and half are in the adjoining carriage house.

The Marie Pershing Room

Named after Marie Pershing, daughter of Blackjack Pershing and granddaughter of Senator Warren E. Francis. A beautiful Cahabra River king bed is wonderfully set off by French-style yellow and blue floral wallpaper. Cozy in its own right with a gas fireplace framed by a carved wooden mantle and tiffany-style lamps that add not only beautiful light but total elegance to this room. Garden lovers will delight in the back door that opens out into the mansion's private garden area. The large private bath includes a soaking tub and a barrier-free shower. This room is handicapped accessible.
