Introduction

Located high on West Virginia's Spring Mountain, 12 miles South of Petersburg, Wildernest Inn is a special B&B combining comfort, friendship and the love of nature. Come relax and experience our beautiful views, heavenly meals and a peaceful change of pace. It's a little glimpse of "Almost Heaven."

Accomodations include six beautifully decorated bedrooms each with private baths, located on the second floor. Made-to-order FULL breakfast served each morning and optional dinners served Tuesday through Sunday. Meals can be served inside or on our covered deck, where one can enjoy spectacular views, brilliant sunsets and later delight in the secluded/private hot tub under brilliant star-filled skies.

Relax beside the fire with a book, watch Direct TV, DVD or perhaps you'd just like to take in the spectacular views. The recreation room located in the finished basement has a pool table, darts, board games and cards for your enjoyment.

Innkeepers, Stewart and Kathy, were born in Southern Africa. We lived there until 1995, and for the past seven years, have searched for that "perfect" place to work and live. Our search ended when we discovered the beauty and tranquility of West Virginia and the Wildernest Inn. We look forward to sharing with you our stories of Africa and our travels of other lands too!
