A gracious bed and breakfast set in historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Nestled in the beautiful lower Shenandoah Valley, the Thomas Shepherd Inn is a place where life slows down long enough for you to enjoy it! We offer six spacious, air-conditioned, delightfully furnished guest rooms with private baths. Our living room with fireplace, two formal dining rooms, guest library, and porch overlooking the garden are also open to you.

A variety of wonderful restaurants, shops and historic buildings are all within a few blocks, as is Shepherd College. The Inn is only minutes from historical landmarks such as Antietam Battlefield and Harper's Ferry and outdoor activities on the Potomac River, the Appalachian Trail and the C&O Canal Path. Come for any of the many fairs and festivals in the area, like the Contemporary American Theatre Festival, the Dulcimer Festival, or the Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Festival.

A full homemade breakfast is included with your room. Coffee and tea service is available for early risers at 7:00 a.m.; breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Special dietary needs are accommodated with advance notice. The Inn has charmed guests for over fifteen years. The Federal-style treasure was built in 1868 as a Lutheran parsonage.

The Thomas Shepherd Inn is located in downtown Shepherdstown, on the corner of German and Duke Streets. Off-street parking is available behind the Inn. We are happy to host small group gatherings or special occasion events. Please let us know what we can do to make your stay special!

Room Rates: Weekdays $115 - $135 Weekends $145 - $175 Government, Corporate and AARP rates are available on weekdays only Please visit our website for more specific information about rooms and rates. We will gladly accommodate well-mannered children over 12 years of age. We unfortunately cannot accommodate pets.
