Introduction
A visit to the Farm will take you on a memorable journey filled with great outdoor recreation, exciting natural resources, a unique cultural experience, and nights so clear you can distinctly see the milky way. There is fun for ALL AGES! Owned by the Wittkamper family for decades, Pyne Mountain Farm has been a sanctuary for wildlife and a quiet place, until now... We recently opened our doors as a vacation rental, retreat center, and bed & breakfast. We're also an ideal site for weddings.

Sleeping and Dining: The house has 5 bedrooms, with 7 double beds and optional single mattresses for extra guests. All rooms are decorated with a rustic West Virginia feel. The sparkling kitchen is fully equipped with two stoves and a microwave. It is stocked with utensils, cups, plates, and all of the cookware you need. Continental breakfast is available for bed & breakfast clients.
Travel: We are located 30 minutes from the Greenbrier Valley Airport of Lewisburg, WV, 1 hour from Blacksburg, VA, 1.5 hours from Roanoke, VA, and just over 4 hours from Washington, DC beltway.
Nature: Historically, the farm has been used for cow pasture, rearing horses, growing hay and even growing tobacco. During the past twenty years there has been minimal human presence and the wildlife has flourished. We are home to white-tailed deer, appalachian cottontails, long-tailed weasels, bobcats, black bears, red-tailed hawks and more, including 40+ species of trees, 30+ species of mammals, and 60+ species of birds among others.
Rates & Policies
Rate for renting the whole house: $300/night
More than 15 people? Organizing a wedding or some other event? Contact us for a quote.
Rates for individual rooms (two person occupancy):
The Downstairs Master with Fireplace: $80/night
The Cowboy Room: $75/night
The Cowgirl Room: $75/night
The Upstairs Master with Private Bath: $85/night
The Guest Room: $60/night
$25/night for each additional person (children 10-years-old and under pay less)
$3/person extra for a continental breakfast (available only for Bed and Breakfast clients)
All guests have access to the kitchen, fridge, etc. so you can prepare your own meals.
$30/per hour ATV rental
We are pet friendly, with some restrictions (to respect those with allergies).
Catering is available for retreat groups. Contact us for rates.
Nature lessons and tours of the land are available for free for first timers.
There is a 10% discount for returning guests and a 8% discount for those referred by previous guests.
