North Fork Mountain Inn

Make your great escape to a secluded, non-commercial, wilderness mountain getaway nestled on the North Fork Mountain, at the center of the legendary Smoke Hole Canyon. A seven-mile journey up the mountain brings you to the Main Inn of rustic log construction with a native stone fireplace in the Great Room. Surrounded on four sides by the Monongahela National Forest, the Inn's wraparound porches offer spectacular views of the mountains and valleys.

The Inn's seven guestrooms have private baths, king or queen beds, mountain or garden views, some with whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces or access to a porch. Rates range from $130 to $180 per night and includes a full breakfast.

The Suites

Located in a log cabin just steps away from the Inn with a wraparound deck with rocking chairs overlooking a beautiful view of Smoke Hole Canyon. The living room is open to the ceiling with a gas fireplace, 42 inch Plasma TV (with DirecTV, movie channels & NFL package), reclining love seat, and reclining leather chair. The master bedroom suite has a King Bed, King Size Whirlpool Bath (features combination air & whirlpool jets, back massage, thermazone), and Oversized Shower. The mini kitchen has a Wet Bar, Refrigerator, Microwave, and Coffee Maker. The Loft has a separate sitting area with a Queen Sleeper Sofa and window view of the forest. The rate is $245 per night and includes a full breakfast for two at the Inn. Children are welcome in the suite for an additional charge. Pets are not allowed in the suites.

The Hideaway Cabin

The private Hideaway Cabin includes bath, kitchen, satellite TV, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, screened in porch and private deck. The Rate is $175 per night for 2 people. There is a 2-night minimum. Each additional person is $15 per night, up to 4. Breakfast is included. Well-behaved pets are ok, $20 per day.

Things To Do

Activities available at the Inn include billards, table tennis, darts, horseshoes, television, video and music libraries. Or, if you prefer, simply sit back and read a book on the porch, taking in the majestic views of the Smoke Hole Canyon.

• Cancellation: Deposit will be refunded when a 15-day notice is given (less a $30 processing charge). Cancellations of less than 15 days will result in forfeiture of your deposit if we are unable to rebook your room for your entire reserved stay. No-shows will be charged for their entire reserved stay.
