Cairo, West Virginia (WV) Bed & Breakfast: This two-story hand hewn log house is your domain. The wide pine floorboards are held down with cut nails. The massive wall logs are all cut, hewned and notched from trees in the nearby woods. On main level is the great room, a living, dining, study area with a large stone-faced fireplace. The two bedchambers and necessary room (a half bath) are upstairs. The master bedroom has a queen sized cherry poster bed. A double cannon ball bed and antique three-quarters bed are in the other bedchamber.

Your Get-Away Destination: Massive hand hewn logs and split shingles remind our guests of another time and place. This entire house can be yours for an evening, a weekend or a week. We offer seclusion in the country, off the beaten path. Handcrafted doors, blacksmith made ironwork, exposed ceiling beams, stone fireplace and wide floorboards highlight this authentically constructed Log House, a symbol of our mountain culture and heritage. It's ideal for honeymoon, anniversary or romantic weekend.

Relax - Reflect - Refresh: Begin each day with a hearty country breakfast after a night of peaceful slumber - That's country living!

Relax in Comfort: While built in the pioneer style, guests still enjoy 21st century amenities. The Cherry Bedchamber features a queen canopy bed. The Oak Chamber has a cannonball double bed and a three-quarters bed. There is a full bath with Jacuzzi for two, a half bath, central heat and air, and small kitchenette with microwave and under-counter refrigerator.

The Cherry Bedchamber 		Come Visit: Log House Homestead B & B is located beside the 72 mile long, North Bend Rail Trail in rural Ritchie County. It's a convenient location next to North Bend State Park for hiking, biking, fishing and boating.   • Whole house: $95 - $130 per night plus tax - double occupancy
  • Each additional adult: $12.
  • Payment - Cash/Checks.
  • Sleeps 2 - 5 persons comfortably.
  • Accepts well-behaved children ages 12-17. No charge.
  • Two night stay requested on weekends.
  • Three day notice of cancellation requested; 2 weeks during special events
