The Harris Room

The Gillum Room rents for $125 per night.

The ambiance of romance fills the room as you relax in the comfort of the whispered luxury of the queen four poster bed with pillowtop mattress and down-filled comforter with satin duvet. The engine and tender above the mantle and the original painting of the Frisco by John Panek pay tribute to Mr. Gillum's tenure as B & O Station Agent. The private en suite bath features a claw-foot bathtub with a brass hand held shower and a 48-inch shower. Terry robes and hair dryer are provided for your comfort. The TV with DVD/VCR are available for your entertainment and the CD player with many romantic CDs available set the romantic mood. There is A/C for the summer months and baseboard heating for the Fall/Winter season (and flannel sheets for the bed during this season) to ensure the climatic comfort of the most important people we know – our guests.

The Harris Room rents for $95 per night.

This room reflects the "down-home" warmth of the Harris family who purchased the house from the Gillum Family. This “feather-free” room for those allergic to feathers and down is furnished mostly with antiques. Savor the comfort of the double bed with its handmade quilts and the reading nook complete with lamp, rocker, and books (take your selections home with you, they are to be stolen). The bath shared with Rosi’s Room features a 60-inch shower and terry robes are in the closet of the room for your comfort and convenience. A hair dryer is found in the antique washstand in the bathroom. The painting over the mantle is a John Panek original and the watercolor of the squirrel is by Sue Panek (NFS – sorry). A CD player/clock radio and a small TV complete the amenities of this room. There is A/C for the summer months and baseboard heating for the Fall/Winter season (and flannel sheets for the bed during this season) to ensure the climatic comfort of the most important people we know – our guests.

Rosi's Room rents for $95 per night.

A teen-aged Rosemary declared her loves on the walls, thus claiming this room as hers forever. Enjoy the charm and comfort of this room with its Windsor-style double bed with pillow-top mattress, Egyptian cotton or flannel sheets depending on the season, and down-filled comforter. The distractions of the 21st Century have been removed to facilitate the old-fashioned art of conversation and togetherness (we have provided a CD player/clock radio and some CDs however). John Panek original paintings decorate the walls. There is A/C for the summer months and baseboard heating for the Fall/Winter season to ensure the climatic comfort of the most important people we know – our guests. Rosi’s Room shares a bathroom with the Harris Room that features a 60-inch shower. Terry robes are in the closet of the room for your comfort and convenience and a hair dryer is found in the drawer of the antique washstand.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is required at least 48 hours in advance or a full reservation charge plus tax will be charged.

Breakfast Policy
A full breakfast is included in the rate. Breakfast will be served at the time our guests request – between the hours of 4 AM and 10 AM please.
