Introduction
Getaway to the privacy and beauty of our 1890 farmhouse nestled in a mountain valley in the Monongahela National Forest. We offer 4 large guestrooms with private baths. Full breakfast is included. We are motorcycle-friendly. Families are welcome. While youre here, ride the Cass Railroad, tour the National Radio Telescope Observatory, bike or hike the Greenbrier River Trail, enjoy the events at Snowshoe, or fish the 8 rivers with their headwaters here. Or just come and getaway to the quiet, the view of the distant Allegheny Mountains and the brightness of the stars. Start the day with a hearty breakfast and end it by roasting marshmallows at our campfire.
Accommodations
We offer a choice of 4 guest rooms, each with private baths and sitting areas. The Snow Ridge is an oversized guestroom with extra large bath and double shower; the Peters Ridge features the original fireplace; the Griffin Ridge is a second floor accommodation with a day bed that can accommodate up to 4 guests; the Chestnut Ridge is a family suite on the second floor, offering 2 rooms, one with a queen size bed, one with a double and twin bed, the bath features a claw foot tub with shower option.
