Introduction
The Angler's Inn, a spacious Victorian Bed and Breakfast, is truly a 'Home away from Home' where you can rest and enjoy the historic and outdoor adventure that Harpers Ferry, WV brings to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The soothing mountain air and the sound of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers converging at the historic village of Harpers Ferry bring a tranquil setting to a fascinating piece of our nation's history.
While we offer a professional Fishing Guide Service through the Inn, Harpers Ferry has something for everyone: History, Shopping, Whitewater Sports, Biking, Hiking. We are delighted to be able to say that guests with all interests have found our B&B a comfortable and refreshing place to relax and vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Angler's Inn Bed and Breakfast is a Circa 1880 Victorian home located on the main street of Historic Harpers Ferry. It is a perfect spot to rest, relax and enjoy the architecture of days gone by. Owners Debbi and Bryan Kelly opened the Angler's Inn in 1997 and have enjoyed renovating this lovely old home to embrace the era gone by while providing modern comforts and conveniences.
The parlor and wraparound porch are gathering places for our guests who always pause to enjoy some refreshment in the afternoons. Our famous homemade 'To Die For' Chocolate Chip Cookies (named by some of our first guests) are available in parlor in the afternoon and evening with cold beverages. Tea and Hot Chocolate are also available.
All of our guest rooms are spacious and welcoming. They each have their own private sitting room as well as private bath. Our guests often comment on the luxury that our private sitting rooms offer. Our private baths have been carefully renovated to provide modern fixtures consistent with the period of the house. While each offers a slightly different layout and decor, all our guest rooms are about the same size. Wireless access is available for your convenience. Just ask us for the passkey.
Breakfast at the Angler's Inn is always a special part of your stay with us. Whether you are enjoying the Full Gourmet Fare or an earlier Continental Breakfast before fishing or an early departure for your day, our breakfasts are always delectable and memorable. Owner, Debbi, carefully prepares your first course (which is also our Continental Breakfast) with creative fruit dishes and homemade breakfast bread or scones. The Full Fare also includes a delicious main course with perhaps, Toasted Almond French Toast, Blintzes, or individually prepared Omelets along with a breakfast meat such as Sausage or our Famous Spiced Bacon. Of course your meal always includes your choice of Coffee, Decaf Coffee or Tea and Juice. Please let us know in advance, if you would prefer Continental Breakfast instead of the Full Gourmet Breakfast. In either case, your room rate covers the cost of your breakfast.
