Ingredients
butter
8 slices whole wheat bread
8 slices Swiss or Cheddar cheese
12 slices green bell pepper
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup alfalfa sprouts
12 tomato slices
Directions
Butter bread and set, butter side down, in a large frying pan over medium heat. Top each slice of bread with one piece of cheese. Divide and layer vegetables on bread and cheese and cook until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown. Put sandwiches together and serve with cucumber dill sauce.
