Welcome to the NORTHWOODS of Wisconsin, where the scenic beauty and the
peace and quiet of the outdoors will relax you in a way you never dreamed
possible. Once you've experienced our NORTHWOODS, you'll want to return
again and again.
Each of our bed & breakfasts has something unique to offer and our hosts
specialize in helping guests take advantage of specific area attractions.
Choose to stay in an old country farmhouse, an historic city home, a
renovated country school, a pine log lodge, or perhaps a new home tucked
alongside that perfect fishing spot.
Our forest trails are unsurpassed for hiking, mountain biking, horseback
riding, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Our lakes and rivers are
excellent for canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. And, the wildlife
is so abundant you won't believe your eyes. When was the last time you saw
an eagle soar, a fawn curled in tall grass or a stately blue heron? In our
beautiful NORTHWOODS, it's not an uncommon occurance.
But beautiful scenery isn't all we have to offer our visitors. Music, art
and ethnic/historic festivals are a prominent aspect of NORTHWOODS
entertainment, and the summer and fall months are loaded with community
activities. Our bed & breakfast hosts are sure to fill you in on
activities when you arrive and keep you posted on some of our hidden
treasures you might otherwise miss -- such as a picturesque park or
waterfall, a small fruit winery in a nearby village, an historic
covered bridge, the perfect fishing spot, or a community theatre with
exceptional talent. Our communities also offer excellent shopping and
