Introduction

Interested in a Wisconsin B&B getaway? That tells us you like to travel under the radar and discover for yourself what the locals know. In Wisconsin, we call that a wonderful way to travel through life. Our innkeepers have a bit of the nonconformist in them too - many traded corporate careers for a chance to run a one-of-a-kind inn. They’re a great source for travel recommendations when you’re in town, and many are chefs in their own right.

All 200 of our member inns had to pass our Inspections Standards before being invited to join the Wisconsin B&B Association (and not every inn makes the cut), making us the state’s only quality-certified B&B group. Now that you’ve decided to "stay out of the ordinary," enjoy all the extraordinary experiences just waiting for you in Wisconsin.

Make Sure and Check Out Our NEW Wisconsin B & B Association's Cookbook

It is our pleasure to introduce you to the attractions here from antiques to nature trails to zoos. Whether you come during the vibrant & colorful fall months, the crystal white winter months, the budding spring or the verdant summer, enjoy your Wisconsin visit at one of our wonderful WBBA member inns. Begin your day with a decadent or healthy homemade breakfast. End your day in front of a crackling fireplace, under a down comforter in a Victorian 4-poster or hand-hewn log bed.

Wisconsin's natural beauty is framed by water on 3 sides with Lake Michigan to the east, Lake Superior to the north, and the grand Mississippi River to the west. In between there are over 15,000 inland lakes, thousands of acres of forested land, traditional small towns and exceptional urban centers rich with cultural diversity. Opportunities for outdoor activities are numerous & diverse, or step inside and enjoy the museums, art galleries, shopping centers and restaurants.

The Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association was founded in 1987, the work of a handful of innkeepers who knew they were on to something important when they began sharing ideas on how to create the very best Wisconsin B&B experience.

Today, the Association is the only quality-certified B&B group in the state and one of the largest such organizations in the country, with nearly 200 members invited to join after passing the Inspections Standards.

To reach our administrative office, call 715-539-9222 or e-mail us at info@wbba.org

Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association also offers information, assistance and seminars to those who are interested in becoming innkeepers...
