Sheldon House is located on Cook Street, one block from Geneva Lake, and is in the newly formed historic district of the City of Lake Geneva. Descriptively, it has decorative window molds, and elaborate porch cornices, punctuated with a steep gabled roof. Architecturally, it is pure gothic revival built by E. Salisbury in 1865. Our recent purchase has seen an eclectic transformation: melding new with old, adding a flavor of European modern to American vintage. Sheldon House Bed & Breakfast is born! Our house is your house. |

We are a small, comfortable and intimate bed and breakfast, located a short walk to the lake, shopping and restaurants. We offer a full breakfast of your choice, but like to tease your taste buds with unique and unusual combinations of cheeses, breads, and fruits. Of course, our coffee and teas are of the finest quality.

Sheldon House is within a block of the beach and downtown Lake Geneva, so it offers easy access to shopping, hiking, and biking trails and dozens of restaurants. We are located in the newly formed historic district. |

We offer a two-bedroom suite, private bath and a living room with flat screen TV and DVD. The suite is furnished with modern and antique accoutrements. The beds are old; however, they are re-furbished iron queen size beds with new high quality Stearns and Foster mattresses. The linens are 800-count cotton designed to wrap you in elegant luxury. Sleeping at Sheldon House will be a memorable experience. For your privacy and convenience, bathrobes are provided. They and the Turkish cotton towels after a warm shower lull you into euphoria fit for a king. This is The Sheldon House ultimate experience.

The courtyard is casual and is designed to promote relaxation. A myriad of flowers and shrubs showcases a fountain that enhances the feeling of pampered leisure. Come and enjoy!
