"The Apple of Sturgeon Bay"
Experience the elegance of a turn of the century Queen Anne home in beautiful historic downtown Sturgeon Bay. The Reynolds House has natural oak woodwork and paneling throughout, with leaded windows and an oak fireplace. Period antique furnishings fill the many common rooms and guest bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private bath some with whirlpool tubs, ceiling fans, cable television, and air conditioning.
The Reynolds House is a traditional Bed and Breakfast, serving not only as lodging, but as the residence of the single proprietor, your innkeeper, Heather. She meets with all of her guests as she welcomes you into her home and invites you to share her elegant yet relaxed way of life.
"We have been to a lot of B & B's and you win hands down! No innkeeper has ever taken the time to sit with us upon arrival and suggest sights, shops, and restaurants. We really appreciated that." ~ Matt and Patty, Marinette, WI
"Wow what a great find!! The accommodations, the food, and the host, Heather, are all fabulous. This is how a bed & breakfast should be. My wife and I have traveled to several B&Bs this summer, and we were wondering if there were any B&Bs that had any character or any heart, or were they just over-hyped hotels. Well we found one here. Heather can expect to see us in the future." ~ Charles and Leesa, USA

When you enter the Reynolds House, you are transported back in time, to an era of fine craftsmanship and eye for detail. From the warm glow of the intricately detailed oak paneling to the myriad antiques and objects de arts, the entire house is open for guests to explore. Gather in the parlor 'round the piano for a song or two. Relax by the fire in the comfortably appointed library. Or you can always flip on the television when it's game time - Sonny's Pizza delivers!
"This larger, two-story shingle and bevel siding house shows the characteristics of the late Queen Anne style in its asymmetrical plan, roofline and fenestration. Also, the detailing is restrained rather than elaborate as was the rule with earlier interpretations of this style. The gables are shingled and pierced by double windows with latticed muntins. The leg of the 'ell' that forms the primary facade is chamfered with the gable overhang supported by ornate spindlework brackets. A massive fieldstone veranda spans the primary leg of the ell, fills the void between both the legs, and terminates in a cylindrical conservatory. The use of the fieldstone is a hint of the Craftsman style just coming into popularity and makes this building a stylistic hybrid of turn-of-the-century styles of residential architecture."
