...a serene suite decorated in sage green and Irish cream with touches of aubergine.... where everything speaks of quiet elegance and comfort.....where you can enjoy the sunrise over Lake Michigan at daybreak and the sunset over Port Washington at day’s end. An antique gentleman’s dresser and matching queen bed in warm cherry are set against a wall of west windows dressed in toile curtains. Comfortable leather swivel recliners beg you to put your feet up and enjoy a good read with soft music of your choosing in the CD player. Keep up with the news and weather or watch a movie on the TV/VCR in your bedroom. Enjoy a hot soak in the old fashioned tub in your attached bath or opt for a refreshing shower in the separate shower. Wishing for more? You’ve found it! Relax into the comfort of the spacious sitting room where two divinely designed divans cozy up to the fireplace and TV/VCR/DVD. More in the mood for pondering the temperament of Lake Michigan? Then the table and chairs in the east dormer is your spot! Need to spend a little time online with your laptop? Take advantage of the desk in the south dormer to set up your computer and use our wireless internet access. Want to enjoy a bottle of wine or a cup of your favorite tea or some xocolata? The beverage center private to your suite will accommodate (you provide the wine, we provide the glasses and the ambience.......teas, lemonade, xocolata, cappuccino mixes are ready when you are).

Windows throughout the Top of the World Suite are capable of full view, veiled view through the Hunter Douglas window shades, or complete privacy by utilizing the toile curtains in the bedroom or the decorator fabric shades in the sitting room. Lighting can be adjusted for ambience, reading, movie watching or a game of Scrabble or chess. Did we mention central AC that enables this suite to keep its cool in the heat of summer? And guest- controlled electric heat throughout the suite plus the gas fireplace in the sitting room when temperatures dip into the chilly zone? One more thing.......those two divinely designed divans......they make 2 divine twin beds (or 1 divine king bed) when topped with the Tempurpedic mattress overlays. That would be in case there are 3 or even four of you traveling together who would like to share this suite ($75/night additional person charge). Not to worry.....there’s a second bathroom, too (this one sans the old fashioned tub).
