Port Washington is 30 minutes north of Milwaukee on Lake Michigan, and it is home to many unique and inviting B&B establishments. Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival is held in nearby West Bend in September and features numerous musicians and live entertainment. Summerfest, also held in Milwaukee, is a very popular music festival that attracts big name music people like Jack Johnson. There is always so much going on in this town that if you are planning a visit it makes sense to book a room in advance at a Port Washington bed and breakfast or a Port Washington inn. A Port Washington B&B will bring you close to the Cedar Creek Winery in nearby Cedarburg, which offers a wine tour and wine sampling. It’s a great place to visit. Harrington Beach State Park in nearby Belgium is a wonderful place to spend a day in the sun. The Wind Rose Wine and Martini Bar is crowded and expensive, but it is recommended by many visitors. It’s located in Port Washington. Smith Brothers Restaurant has a spectacular view of the lake. Their Sunday brunch buffet is known to be delicious.
