Oconto, WI is located in northeast Wisconsin and is the county seat. While visiting Oconto, you should consider staying in one of the local B&B establishments so that you have a chance to experience the local flavor. Winter Wonderland is an event where 300 trees are decorated with lights and Christmas displays at Holtwood Campground. The annual Fish A Ree in February has games, raffles, refreshments, food, music and lots of old time snowmobiles on display. There are four established mountain bike trails in Oconto County, totaling 98 miles. The Beyer Home Museum is located at 917 Park Avenue and was the first brick home in the county, built in 1868.
