Marinette is located in located in the southeast part of Wisconsin County. It is the location of many quaint Marinette bed and breakfasts. The River Century Bike Ride attracts hundreds of bicyclists the last weekend in June. The Annual 4th of July Celebration is sponsored by the city of Marinette, the Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce and the Jaycees. Marinette County has 20 county parks. These parks offer hiking and overnight camping. Marinette is located along Green Bay, which is a major bay of Lake Michigan. In addition to Green Bay, the city is located along the Menominee River. Both bodies of water offer many fishing and boating opportunities, as well as several events related to these sports, such as fishing derbies and sailboat races. Mickey Lu BBQ has the best burgers and shakes in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, featuring the original and most delicious butter burger. The Brothers Three provides the best pizza in town, And friendly staff that provides top notch service. You'll love the flour nachos.
