The Granary is a one level, one bedroom guesthouse with full kitchen and bath. It was rebuilt on the location of the original granary and original wood has been salvaged and used throughout the 17 x 34 foot building. It is a perfect place for writing or study with two desk areas and a selection of books for inspiration. Looking over the farm fields to the north and with a view of the activities in the barnyard, it has a porch extending the length of the east side of the building.
There is a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area for a total of up to four guests. It is air conditioned and there is a grill for your use. Local produce is available in season. Call or email for availability.
The Schoolhouse was built over 100 years ago. Used as a country school until 1960, it was located on the farm property, and was moved to its present location in 1970. Following its use as a school, it was used to store grain for several years.
We have since restored the building, adding a full kitchen, bath (shower only) and sleeping loft, while retaining much of the original flavor and decor of the old classroom days.
In the loft are a queen and full-sized bed. On the main floor are two full-sized pullout futons. Furnishings include school chairs and tables and plenty of books!
A gas fireplace provides cozy warmth on cold nights and air conditioning to cool you in the summer. Just below the schoolhouse is another room with a TV/VCR and large desk.
All rates are double occupancy not including tax. For each additional person add $10.
