Relax at the Lazy Cloud B&B or Lazy Cloud Inn which are both located in the beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin area. All of our accommodations are done in our signature romantic style: each has a luxurious double whirlpool tub and a blazing fireplace. Each room is individually decorated
and has a daybed, couch or loveseat for lounging, and a small dining area for two. Additionally, all have candles, fluffy bathrobes, bubble bath and bath pillows for your use. The game Enchanted Evening (a romantic couple's game) is also in each room. Godiva Chocolate Truffles are placed on your bedside table. The rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. Each evening you'll receive a bottle of wine and there's even a complimentary basket with microwave popcorn and flavored gourmet hot chocolate and cappuccino. We also provide a radio with cassette and CD player so you may relax and enjoy your favorite music. In addition, you may order a picnic basket dinner which you can eat by candlelight in front of the fireplace. It features some of Wisconsin's most famous product, cheese!! We purchase many of the cheeses and deli products from a local vendor right here in Lake Geneva. |

The Lazy Cloud Bed & Breakfast:
Lazy Cloud Bed and Breakfast is located on three picturesque acres. There is a large English Cottage Garden, which blooms with many different kinds of perennials. In the spring more than two thousand tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and crocus bulbs are flowering on our grounds beckoning hummingbirds and other beautiful songbirds.
Set in the middle of the garden is a gazebo, where you can sit and enjoy our grounds, a beautiful sunset, or just sip a glass of wine and talk to each other without interruptions.
You can hear the crickets chirping as the evening draws near and you reflect on your day and the anticipation of the upcoming evening.
Each room at the Bed and Breakfast has a queen sized bed. They have no TV, VCR or telephones, so you can have a quiet relaxing getaway (although we do have a TV and telephone in the common area.) In the morning, we serve an expanded continental breakfast consisting of our delicious homemade sticky pecan rolls, fruit, homemade granola or box cereal along with coffee, tea, milk and juices.
We have a cobblestone patio just outside the lodge so you are able to enjoy breakfast outside if the weather is nice. Several double hammocks and benches have been placed throughout the grounds so you may lay back and relax and watch the world go by. It's also a great place to stargaze at night. A lawn checkers set is also set up in one corner of our gardens. The pieces are about a foot wide and you pick them up and move them around the checkers board. |
The Lazy Cloud Inn:
At Lazy Cloud Inn you have the best of both worlds. Each room has the privacy of an Inn with outside entrances and private baths...and the romance of a Bed & Breakfast with double whirlpools, fireplaces and a large, private deck or patio for stargazing.
Located two miles west of Lake Geneva on Highway 50, Lazy Cloud Inn is set on four acres of grounds of which the three acres behind the inn are all wooded. This was a 1950's style motel that has been totally redone - inside and out!
There are both king and queen sized beds at the Inn. Some of the rooms have a TV and VCR. A continental breakfast is waiting in your room. You can make your coffee when you wake up and orange juice, pastries and/or muffins are in the refrigerator.
Each evening you'll receive a complimentary bottle of wine and each morning breakfast is ready for you whenever you wake up! A packet of gourmet coffee is waiting to be made in your coffee maker, and orange juice and fresh pastries are in the refrigerator. |

I S T O R Y |
The Lazy Cloud Lodge Bed & Breakfast building has a great deal of a history behind it. It was built in the early 1920's as polo lodge for the Uilhlein Family. They owned the Chicago Branch of Schlitz Brewery Company. The Uihlein's had about 88 acres in the Lake Geneva area at the time. Some of the rooms were stables for the horses, some of them stored grain. In fact, the Hayloft Suite was actually a hayloft in itself. The lodge is a "Cape Cod" style building. In fact, the first time you see it from the road it will appear small from the front, but the Uihlein's built it to face the polo fields and not the road itself. |
| The Paul Newman Suite is named that because in 1950, the actor Paul Newman had stayed here at one time!! | |

Early in Newman's acting career, he played at the Summer Stock at the Belfry Theater in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. From what we gathered at the time, Paul Newman was poor and mowed the lawn in exchange for rent. Unfortunately, he hasn't been back to mow the lawn since!! Additionally, there has been another famous person who has stayed here. J.D. Salinger from Dublin, stayed in the Log Cabin Suite for one entire summer while he was writing the book "Catcher In The Rye" |

Each of the nineteen accommodations at Lazy Cloud B&B and Lazy Cloud Inn are individually decorated. Each accommodation has a double sized whirlpool for two and a fireplace. They also have a queen size bed, daybed with lots of pillows or a loveseat for lounging, and the suites all have a small dining area for two. |
