History

Harbor House Inn with over 90 years of history is thoughtfully restored and rooms tastefully done in period furniture. Built in 1904 by Willie and Olga Weborg, the Inn was in its beginning a home open to weary travelers arriving by sailing schooners after a long journey from Chicago. The house remained in the Weborg family and in 1987 David and Else Weborg became modern day Innkeepers, restoring the house to its original elegance and charm.

David, a Gills Rock native, met Else born in Viborg, Denmark, while she was vacationing here. The girl from Viborg married a Weborg and the rest is history!
