Cornucopia is on Siskiwit Bay, on the South Shore of Lake Superior. The Bayfield County Fair is being held August 27-30 this summer. The fair features rides, music, great food and tons of entertainment. The annual hometown holiday shopping season is taking place as it always does in Bayfield County through the end of the holiday season. Cornucopia can be best known for being located very close to Meyer's Beach and Mawikwe Bay Caves. The caves can be accessed by trail or across the ice in winter months/kayak or canoe during summer months. The Chequamegon National Forest is located in this area. It is surrounded by snowmobile trails where you can ATV, hike, cross-country ski, snowshoe or dog-sled. While enjoying all of the outdoor activities that Cornucopia offers, you'll be happy to know that a room awaits you not far from wherever you choose to have fun at a Cornucopia bed and breakfast or inn.
