The Gathering Room
Warm hospitality, inviting rooms and delicious food are our tradition. Inn at Cedar Crossing offers the comforts and amenities of a historic inn with all the modern conveniences. The guest lobby, off Louisiana Street, is graced by the original pressed tin ceiling and furnished with antiques. Our restaurant has been serving Door County residents and visitors alike since 1989, and is known for quality food, creative entrees and attentive service.
In the evening, the Gathering Room becomes a relaxing spot to enjoy a parlor game, curl up with a bowl of popcorn and a book or plan the next day's activities on the guest computer. Fresh baked cookies, coffee, herbal tea, or fresh lemonade are offered each afternoon.
Included with your stay is our homemade full breakfast with choice of two entrees, served between 8 - 10 a.m. each day. Or you may have a continental breakfast brought to your door. Room rates are for two persons; an additional person in a room is $20 extra. All guestrooms feature individually controlled heating and air-conditioning.
A stroll through the streets finds you amidst interesting shops, boutiques, and galleries, the Door County Historical and Maritime Museums, the library, Miller Art Center, and the market square. Just three blocks from the waterfront and close to numerous parks, you can enjoy sailing, biking, picnicking, beaches, and sunsets. The historically inclined will want to tour through the town's designated historic districts.
Exploring further, you'll find Door County's captivating beauty with 250 miles of shoreline, spectacular limestone bluffs, orchard studded hills, and serene wooded back roads. Recreational activities are endless. Allow us to share our area's rich cultural and artistic heritage... the many galleries and festivals, the summer concerts and theaters.
Each of our nine guestrooms offers the feeling of an elegant romantic getaway. All are individually decorated, furnished with antiques and many offer a fireplace, a double whirlpool tub or both. Each guest room has a private bathroom, individually controlled heat and air conditioning, TV and DVD, phone and high speed wireless internet. Guestrooms with fireplaces have gas burning logs for the enjoyment and safety of our guests.
