The perfect relaxing getaway for you and someone special just a short drive from Minneapolis/St. Paul. All 5 themed guest rooms with King beds, private bathrooms & fireplaces offer the opportunity to relax in your own double whirlpool or out on the lakeside deck or patio.

Canyon Road Inn is close to the action (US Hwy 8 & 63), yet secluded on 20 acres with over 200 feet of natural lakeshore. Hike the trails, bike scenic country roads, golf nearby courses, explore a variety of area shops, museums & State Parks, go dancing or play at the casino, take a canoe or paddleboat out on the lake to view resident loons and eagles. Fishing is good year round. Enjoy some quiet time reading or relaxing with a friend.

Enjoy a delicious full course breakfast served family style in the dining room.
Many guests say breakfast is one of the highlights of their stay.

All guestrooms feature the following amenities: Relaxing double whirlpool bath, king size beds, private baths with showers, hair dryers, a small writing table and chairs, private entrance, robes for guests to use during their stay, a cozy gas log fireplace or air conditioning, patio doors leading onto a roomy deck or patio, lakeside or wooded view. All rooms have DSL service. Iron & ironing board is available on request. Lower level with patios on the lakeside.

Use of canoe, a row boat and a paddleboat on the lake and snow shoes in winter are complimentary. Railroad & Lily Pad Rooms are wheelchair accessible. Canyon Road Inn also has a chair lift to the Main floor for guests to use. Garden, Homestead & NorthWoods Rooms are accessible via a long sidewalk ramp and up about 4 steps.

Rates & Guest Information
  • All 5 spacious guestrooms have different themes and decor, but are all priced the same.
  • Rates range from $105 to $155 per night.
  • Reservations are recommended. Sometimes we have last minute openings or changes in plans, so we don't mind if you inquire.
  • To confirm your reservation, prepayment of $50 by check or deposit with Visa or MasterCard is required.
  • Cancellation: A full refund will be given for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to date of stay.
  • Those made less than 24 hours prior will be refunded as a gift certificate for the amount of the deposit, less a $20 handling fee.
  • Check in anytime after 3 p.m. Check out by 11 a.m. Luggage may be checked in before 3 p.m. by request.
  • We are a non smoking facility. Smoking is not allowed in the building.
  • We ask that you arrange to enjoy your stay without your pets. Ask about local kennel services.
  • Nicely embossed Canyon Road Inn Gift Certificates are available in any amount for Holidays or other special occasions.
