Mineral Point, Wisconsin (WI) Bed and Breakfast: In the European tradition, the Brewery Creek Inn is housed on the upper two floors of this beautifully restored stone warehouse building. The restaurant and micro-brewery are on the ground floor. Offering private baths with whirlpools, fireplaces, hand-hewn timbers and exposed stone walls, the Inn provides the convenience and comfort of modern amenities along with the beauty of historic surroundings. The Guest House on Shakrag Street was built in 1843 as a miner's cottage and offers two cozy, yet elegant four-room suites. Each suite has spacious living quarters and full kitchen capabilities.

Guest Room
The Brewery Creek Inn
Each of our rooms is distinctly and beautifully decorated with a combination of antique and antique reproduction furniture. Rooms 1, 2, 5 and 6 have limestone tiled baths with double whirlpools, tiled fireplaces, exposed stone walls, hand-hewn timbers, queen sized beds, pull-out sleeper couches, original art work, cable TV and private phones. Room 7 is similar to the others but with a parlor stove instead of a fireplace. Since it is a little smaller, there is no couch.

*PLEASE NOTE: The Inn accommodations are on the second and third floors. We do not have an elevator. If any member of your party has a medical condition which would make climbing stairs a problem perhaps you should consider The Springside Cottage. There are only six steps down from street level to the front yard.

Springside Cottage
Less than five minutes walk from the Brewery Creek Inn, The The Springside Cottage was built by Cornish immigrants between 1843 and 1847. An addition was made to it around the turn of the century, and local legend Bob Neal renovated the property about 30 or 40 years ago.

The building contains two four-room suites consisting of a living room, kitchen/dining area, private bathroom and bedroom. Behind the house on the lower lawn is a deck area which guests share. At the very back of the property, behind the flowers and trees, flows Brewery Creek.

The Miners' Cottage

Wonderful and quixotic. This stone Miners' cottage (on the right) has been lived in continuously since it was built in 1836. Now it is yours to enjoy! Living room with fireplace and sofa bed; fully equiped kitchen with fireplace and attached "cave like" limestone root cellar; bathroom with shower and 1951 Ava Ferneke murals; bedroom with queen size bed and garden views. Charming back yard and off street parking. Maximum Occupancy: 4.
