Quilting Weekend Slumber Party Retreat
For Seasoned Quilters
This retreat in The Red Hen Suite, allows quilters' to bring their machines and finish all of those UFO's. Of course, you can always buy more fabric and start a new project. I provide cutting tables, mats, irons, rulers, ergonomic chairs, and a table for each quilter, a large basting table, a design wall and great lighting. Rates are based on two people in each large room. Rooms have private baths and comfortable canopy beds. There are porches and spaces for you to roam. Walking to downtown is within two blocks, with some of the best restaurants in the state. Enjoy the home, collections, and many quilts.

Leave these things at home: Kids, Work, Husbands, Stress, & Cigarettes

Check in is 8 AM Friday, Check out is 4 PM Sunday

You will spend two nights with three full days of quilting.
Continental breakfast is provided; lunch and dinner are on your own. Cost is $45/night for the room & $20/day for the workroom, living room and kitchen. Total cost is $150/person for the weekend plus 11% tax.

If you are interested, have your contact person call me for available dates, & I will send you a contract for the group rental of the house. Deposit is 50% down and the balance plus 11% tax is due at check in. Retreats are limited to six quilters.

Beginner Quilting Class
The cost for the full week is $650. This includes rooms for four nights, bedding, towels etc., a continental breakfast and lunch each day. Dinner is on your own. There are about 15 restaurants within walking distance of my B & B. I provide all of the tools (to use while you are here). I provide irons, ironing boards also. You each get to use a machine that I provide. Scrap fabrics will be abundant for your sample projects. I guarantee that you will learn to quilt.

Cost is based on double occupancy in each room. If you want a private room, the cost would be $100 more for the week. I also will give you one night free if you choose to come on Sunday night. This is best because you are rested and ready to go on Monday morning. I only have SIX pupils in each class.

Couples Quilting/Hobby Weekend
Join us from Friday night to Sunday afternoon for a fun couple's weekend in the Red Hen Suite. This weekend is special for the quilter as well as fostering a relaxing time for your husband. It begins at 5PM check-in on Friday with wine & cheese, and a home tour with your hosts. You are shown to your suite to enjoy your evening in a luxurious living room with a country kitchen. Over your canopy king sized bed is a romantic sparkling chandelier. You will have access to the quilting room, which includes everything you need to sew, sew, & sew some more. You may bring your own machine but it is not necessary. I have Singer sewing machines, cutting mats, irons, tables, ergonomic chairs, layout table, light box, and rulers for your use. The lighting is great!

Saturday morning your mate may indulge (for an extra fee) in a Swedish massage or just relax and enjoy movies, books, music, or play with the laptop computer with high speed internet connection.

The massage is NOT limited to just your mate!

Cost for the weekend is $175/night for the Red Hen Suite & the sewing equipment. If you request a Swedish massage, the cost is $75/hour, Breakfast (Scrumptious) is included for both mornings. If you include a second couple for $275/night, (you could split the cost).

You may include a quilting class on Saturday. The class is from 9AM to 4PM and the cost is $50/person
