Introduction
The Waterfront Inn was built in 1918 as one of the original fishing family's homes. The home is on a walking trail and bike path that takes you through down town Gig Harbor where you can enjoy the ambiance of this historic fisherman's village. The Inn has a long dock which is very enjoyable for guests.
The Waterfront Inn is located at the head of the beautiful bay of Gig Harbor, which is just minutes west of Tacoma. This convenient location is just a few hundred feet from shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There is a small boat rental for fishing and touring the area and a kayak specialty shop offering lessons. Sailing excursions and lessons are also available nearby. There are several renowned golf courses within a half-hour's drive.
The Waterfront Inn offers private, luxurious rooms in a beautiful historic home. Each room has a private entrance, a river rock gas fireplace, a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player and high speed internet. There is a comfortable meeting room for small businesses or other gatherings. A deluxe continental breakfast is served and can be eaten in the privacy of your room by the fireplace while enjoying the beautiful view of the harbor, or on the 1500 square foot over-the-water sitting pier. Rates are from $150 to $220 per night. Corporate and winter discounts are available.
