Leavenworth rests dreamily in the Icicle Valley, surrounded by 10,000 foot Cascade peaks of the Snow Lakes Wilderness Area, appropriately named the Enchantments.

Driving from the Seattle area takes about two and a half hours, a scenic road trip over the Cascades.

The closest major airport in the region is Seatac, just south of Seattle. All major airlines service Seatac. Rental cars are readily available.
