| Run of the River, a Leavenworth, Washington bed and breakfast, is the ideal getaway location for anyone who is interested in seeing Washington state at its best. The Inn and Refuge rests on a high water channel of the Icicle River - about a half-mile upriver from the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, WA. We are a luxury inn surrounded on two sides by Washington Department of Wildlife bird refuge, home to deer, coyote, and the occasional bear and elk. It's a birder's paradise, where guests regularly spy great blue heron, osprey, owls, kingfishers, geese and a variety of ducks. |

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and tantalizing breakfast specialties - fresh from the oven - beckon guests to a morning feast at Run of the River. With so much to do and see in and around the Icicle Valley, you will need a hearty breakfast to keep you going strong until lunch! That first cup of brew, savored on the deck of our B&B, overlooking the quietly waking river as guests gather in the dining area, is just a little bit of heaven! The array of fresh and hearty breakfast fare is served family-style about 9 a.m. providing a relaxing time of pleasant conversation.
