Introduction
Red Caboose Getaway provides the discriminating bed and breakfast guest a chance to experience the days of the Railroad Barons by staying in their own themed caboose in the beautiful town of Sequim.
Nestled in the shadow of the majestic Olympic Mountains and equidistant from Victorian Port Townsend and Port Angeles, departure point for Victoria, B.C., our guests can hike, shop, tour or just get away from it all!
Track #1
A third caboose has just been renovated and is ready for your next stay in Sequim!
Track #3
Each caboose has its own charm and is decorated to create a special ambience. While we finish renovating our 1934 Zephyr Dining car, a Continental Breakfast and morning paper are delivered to your door each morning.
Track #1
Board the Casey Jones straight off the station platform. With the train enthusiast in mind, it has an original conductor's desk and chair as well as the cupola intercom, used to call the engineer to warn of trouble with the load or breaks. Decorated with train posters, original work orders, lanterns and locks, and equipped with a large shower, this unit is perfect for that special "conductor" in your life. It also includes a queen feather bed, TV/VCR, refrigerator, hair dryer, bottled water, in-room coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Track #2
Climb the stairs and relive the romance of the rails as you enter the luxurious "Orient Express". This elegant caboose offers all the amenities: a two person whirlpool bath, gas fireplace, queen feather bed, TV/VCR, refrigerator, hair dryer, bottled water, in-room coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and terry robes to snuggle in during your stay.
Track #3
Now Boarding Track #3! The "Circus" Caboose! Sleep under the Big Top or cruise the "Tunnel-of-love" (water in the boat, not boat in the water!) in your 2-person whirlpool tub. Enjoy the fireplace, queen feather bed, TV/VCR, mini-fridge and in room coffee and tea. Two additional "bunks" are located in the upstairs cupola (a raised observation post in the roof of the caboose).
Rates are $100-$180 per night.
Each caboose has been designed to accommodate 2 adults.
