Introduction

The Holly Hill House is an elegant and intimate five bedroom Victorian Inn located in the heart of Port Townsend's Historical Uptown District. Built in 1872 by Colonel Robert C. and Elizabeth Hill, the Holly Hill House is beautifully maintained and famous for its stippled woodwork and Victorian plantings. The delightful gardens bring a special joy with 88 rose bushes surrounding the grounds along the white picket fence. The 100+ year old upside down Camperdown Elm - on the historical tree registry - is guarded by 20 ancient Holly trees. Every turn brings another floral pleasure.

The Holly Hill House provides comfortable accommodations that pamper our guests with a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. Our sumptuous full breakfast is enjoyed in a gracious formal dinning room on a candlelit table set with exquisite linens, china and silver.

Gracious Formal Dining Room Afternoon tea with fresh home-baked pastries, hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows and Nina's signature cookies, now known as Momma Nina's are served in the elegant parlor in front of the original Italian fireplace. The cozy leather furniture coaxes you to relax and enjoy the aviation artwork and memorabilia.

Your hosts, Greg and Nina Dortch along with their three cats, Dora, Dieter and Ilsa, invite you to enjoy the warmth and hospitality that Holly Hill House offers with gracious style. Please join us for this wonderful bed and breakfast tradition. Children 14 and older are welcome. There is a Two Night minimum stay required from June 1st through September 30th on Weekends, Holidays and Festivals.
