Introduction

We are a year-round bed & breakfast retreat, spectacularly located at the base of 12,276-foot Mt. Adams in the Cascade Range of south-central Washington State. Surrounded by ponderosa pines and meadowland of the Glenwood Valley, our long-established 80-acre ranch is just a two hour scenic drive from Portland, Oregon and only 40 minutes north of the Columbia River Gorge. Whether your stay is for one night or one week, you will feel right at home here. As one guest said so well, "The Flying L Ranch is a place of peace, beauty, and restoration." Our delicious, full breakfasts are served in the ranch cookhouse. We will also provide other meals for groups with advance reservations, or you may cook your own meals in the Lodge, Guesthouse and cabin kitchens. Experience the tranquility and beauty of our nature preserve. You can enjoy a quiet walk or cross country ski on our 1-2 mile loop trail system, where you may see coyotes, deer and grouse, and where wildflowers bloom in profusion from May through September.

Singles, Families, Groups Welcome

The relaxed atmosphere and variety of facilities, including a spacious lodge, are ideal for group retreats, club outings, seminars, family reunions and other group functions. We can comfortably accommodate 24-30 guests in 14 units. Groups can have exclusive use of the entire ranch (including full breakfasts served by our staff) at rates around $49/person/day plus tax. Group rates normally apply to stays of 2 days or longer. Let us know what your needs are!
