Introduction

Chittenden House is a European style Bed and Breakfast located in a 1926 Craftsman home. The accommodations are romantic and timeless, and the service is friendly and attentive. Relax and enjoy the view of Puget Sound on our back deck or sit in our beautiful gardens or "sun room" area after a busy day of sightseeing or shopping.
A complimentary breakfast with gourmet coffee or tea is served in our dining room or kitchen seating area each morning between 8 and 9 a.m. If you are on a special diet, just let us know ahead of your arrival and we can modify our recipes to meet almost any dietary special needs you may have.
Local Attractions
Very few places in the world offer the diversity found in Washington State. Some potential activities include canoeing, kayaking, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, sailing, shopping, and mountain biking. Bicycle and roller blade rentals are available at Alki Point in West Seattle. Enjoy a day trip to spectacular Mount Rainier or to nearby ocean beaches. Take a day hike on some of the most famous Puget Sound hiking trails.
Other endless possibilities include: Dinner atop the Space Needle; shopping at Pike Place Market and the Seattle waterfront.
