Introduction

Branch Colonial House - Tacoma, Washington We welcome you to the Branch Colonial House Bed and Breakfast Inn, which is nestled above Tacoma's historical Old Town district and overlooks Puget Sound. Our home offers romantic views from its luxury suites. Whether traveling for pleasure or business, our Inn was crafted to provide you with a memorable Pacific Northwest experience. The Inn's convenient location provides easy access to area dining and local attractions.
When built in 1904, The Daily Ledger in Tacoma featured the house as "one of the largest and most attractive residence built this year..." Prior to the depressions era, the families of a local railroad pioneer, a Tacoma city builder, and former mayor called the manor home.

The house had been divided and run as a multi-unit dwelling for nearly 80 years prior to the restoration in 1998. Today you will find our labor of love has made it a home once again with a grandeur reminiscent of its original intent.

All suites and rooms are elegantly appointed with antique furnishings, queen beds with fine linens, cable TV, VCR and private bathrooms. Each room is spacious with high ceilings, oak floors, and lots of lighting. Suites feature views of Puget Sound and enormous bathrooms with large showers and jetted tubs. In Tacoma, the past dwells alongside the present. The city's three universities, the Washington State Historical Museum, Point Defiance Park, the Zoo & Aquarium and the restored Broadway Theater district make Tacoma a cultural destination.

On the shoreline of Puget Sound, within sight of Mount Rainier, Tacoma savors an intriguing blend of rustic waterfront charm and turn-of-the-century architecture. Neighborhood districts with local charm offer unique shopping, intimate galleries, and cozy dining experiences throughout the city.

We want to provide you with an exceptional, warm and inviting experience to enjoy and relish!
