Alexander's Country Inn, Restaurant & Day Spa at Mount Rainier

Alexander's offers some of the finest lodging in the Mount Rainier region. Built in 1912, Alexander's is a romantic Victorian hotel with 12-guest rooms. The inn retains its historic charm and character while still providing modern amenities. Stay in a Tower Suite or in a Queen Room. Full breakfast, evening wine, use of the media room and hot tub are included in the daily rate. Alexander's has two self-catered vacation cabins, The Forest House and The Chalet.

Widely acclaimed, Alexander's Restaurant serves delicious Pacific Northwest foods in a relaxed and casual atmosphere and is open 7-days a week during the summer, and on weekends and holidays during the winter. Alexander's Restaurant, during the winter, serves mid-week dinner exclusively to our overnight guests. Alexander's has hosted business, educational, and government conferences since 1984, always exceeding the expectations of the participants. We'll assist you in planning your event --both the working time --as well as the end-of-the-work-day time. We proudly put emphasis on good food served with professional service. Guests enjoy fireside conferences with working buffet lunches, midmorning snacks, late afternoon appetizers, and full service dinners. We supply endless coffee and beverages. The inn has European antique stained glass windows and the rooms are furnished with antique beds and armoires. Quality linens and bouquets of fresh-cut flowers add to the comfort and romance one expects at a historic inn. A new hot tub, with Jacuzzi jets, overlooks Alexander's Trout Pond and waterfall. Overnight guests are invited to walk the nature trails and explore the back acreage that borders the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The landscape of towering old-growth fir trees, lush fern grottos and wildflowers is as beautiful and pristine today as when the original homestead was founded.

Fall and winter are an especially wonderful time to visit Mount Rainier. For those who enjoy winter sports, Mount Rainier and the surrounding area offer many options including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding.
