Introduction
Welcome to White Rocks Inn, where you will experience the warmth and charm of Old Vermont on a historic dairy farm. This is Vermont at its best, the way you always dreamed it would be.
The farm beckons with the architecture of its classic Greek Revival farmhouse and landmark Gothic barn. Imagine, this idyllic pastoral scene in the heart of the historic Otter Creek Valley, nestled between two mountain ranges, has offered escape to travelers since 1983.
We are located on Route 7, almost halfway between Manchester and Rutland, Vermont.

The house is surrounded by ancient trees—sugar maples, white pine and black walnut. It offers spectacular views of the Green Mountains — the bleached boulders of the White Rocks Recreation Area cascading down the hillside. Every season brings abundant wildlife to the farm—deer, wild turkeys, Canada geese, ducks, and golden eagles. Much more than a place to stay, White Rocks Inn is a place to rekindle your love affair with life.
We'll enjoy having you stay with us in any season and help to make it as fun-filled or relaxing as you prefer!
Guests love the hiking trail that starts behind the barn and leads to a picnic table at the top of the hill.

The classic Vermont farmhouse welcomes you and wraps you in warmth from the moment you enter the front door and the view of the mountains and valley from your window is virtually the same as it was in the 1800's.
Whether the landscape is ablaze with fall color, wrapped in a blanket of snow, or bursting with wildflowers and freshly cut hay, you can be assured you will create memories of a lifetime here. Imagine gazing up at thousands of brilliant stars, then falling asleep by the light of a flickering fire and waking to find freshly fallen snow.
Guests are greeted by a glowing fire in the Asher Benjamin library on wintry days or fresh flowers from the garden in summer.
Prepare to be pampered in the dining room with candlelight and soft music setting the scene.
Guests enjoy casual conversation over an early morning cup of coffee or tea in the parlor.
In summer, the broad side porch serves as a gathering place where guests can sip lemonade or iced tea.
Indulge in the romance of canopy beds and the comfort of a bountiful country breakfast served by candlelight in the gracious dining room or on the porch on warm summer mornings.
Awake to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, served for your early morning enjoyment, and join us for afternoon tea and cookies or luscious Saturday night dessert.
