Introduction

Victorian splendor meets modern convenience at this elegant mansion in the village. Each of our 8 guest rooms is elegantly appointed with period antiques. Four rooms have a fireplace, three have a whirlpool tub, all have private baths, cable tv, wireless internet access and air-conditioning in the summer months. Whichever room you choose, you are sure to enjoy our sumptuous, 3 course candlelight breakfast featuring a selection of entrees, inn-made breads and pastries, served at your convenience between 8 and 9:30 a.m., at your own private table. The Inn retains much of the mansion's original splendor. An impressive oak staircase, fireplaces and hearths, wood floors, rich oak wainscoting and moldings, ornate tin ceilings, cranberry glass lamps, pocket doors, built in drawers and heavy beveled glass are all original. Enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine from our cozy tavern. A chess table in the parlor invites you to a game of chess or checkers.
