Troy is located in northern Vermont, about three miles from the Canadian border. There are several small bed and breakfasts in the area most of them only about a 15 minute drive from Troy. Troy is known for its beautiful countryside and friendly hospitality. The local area offers many outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, bicycling, swimming and canoeing. Troy has few restaurants, but they are all locally owned and operated by local residents, and all offer a variety of delicious local fare. Troy is located in Orleans County and home to the annual Orleans County Fair, which takes places in August.
