Cheese Making Experience

For the past seven years Jon and Kate Wright of Taylor Farm have hand-crafted award winning Gouda cheeses using fresh, sweet milk from their herd of Holsteins. The Three Mountain Inn, in Jamaica Vermont and Taylor Farms invite you to Experience a Day of Cheese Making. Learn the hands-on techniques of cheese making; be part of the daily operation of a family dairy farm.

Start your day with a three-course breakfast at the Three Mountain Inn, and then head off to the farm for this hands-on experience. Work with fresh milk from the farm's 40 Holsteins, using large cheese knives to cut the curd which eventually will turn into award winning Gouda.

The Ball Mountain Dam releases on the West River offer an incredible adventure combining eight miles of continuous Class III action.

Caving Experience
When the glaciers cut their way through Vermont, they tore through mountains leaving incredible rock formations. Explore the hidden century old crevasses and caves, go deep into the ground exploring the underworld that few have seen. This experience is not for the claustrophobic.
