Built in 1834 in the Federal style with Greek Revival influences, the historic Strong House Inn is located in the heart of the Champlain Valley. The Inn commands wonderful views of the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondack Mountains to the west. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Strong House is ranked as one of the finest examples of early Greek Revival homes in the area. Sited on six acres for your outdoor enjoyment, the Inn offers walking trails and fragrant gardens, snowshoeing, sledding, and skating. |

The Main House offers eight guest rooms, each with a private bath, cable television, telephone/data port and high speed internet access. The Country House Annex offers six guest rooms and is sighted high on the southwest corner of Rabbit Ridge with wonderful views. All rooms in Rabbit Ridge Country House have a coffee niche, private full bath, cable television, telephone/data port, and high speed internet access. Rates include a full country breakfast and afternoon refreshment. Throughout the Strong House guests will experience spaces offering comfort, warmth, serenity, and entertainment. The myriad of atmospheres is designed to delight the senses from the beautifully appointed dining rooms to the comfort and tranquility of the reading library.
