Years of careful planning led to the 1998 construction of this ideal romantic getaway in a setting that is peaceful and quiet, yet near all the area has to offer. This luxury bed & breakfast inn emphasizes comfortable elegance, quiet relaxation, and genuine hospitality for couples who treasure their time together.

Unwind in your bubbling, fireside two-person Jacuzzi -- every room has one! Each of the nine uniquely decorated rooms also features a king-size bed, sitting area, flat screen LCD TV with DVD/VCR, individually controlled heat and air seasonal conditioning, and fine amenities like hypo-allergenic down duvets and pillows, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels, and luxurious bath robes. Please note, this is a place created to help you "get away from it all." You will not find telephones in our guest rooms, although two guest telephones are available in the common areas.

Our guests are treated to evening hors d'oeuvres along with 24-hour soft drinks from the guest pantry (bring your own alcohol if you wish). Glassware, ice, corkscrews, etc. are provided. In the morning, savor a full country breakfast in the window-walled breakfast room with tables set for two. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00 AM. Homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, and three entree choices are offered daily. With only nine guest rooms, several common areas, and almost 10 acres of grounds to explore, guests can be assured of privacy and a restful atmosphere. Linger in our soothing perennial gardens with the sounds of rushing waterfalls. Stroll along our wooded walking trails (snowshoes provided in winter). Snooze in our hammock in the shade. Challenge a fellow guest to a game of billiards in the game room. Or curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book in the sitting room. Borrow a movie from our video library; we even provide the popcorn! Stargaze while soaking in our outdoor hot tub. Brides and grooms are often seen in the garden taking their wedding vows, as this is a popular site for private wedding ceremonies (as well as proposals, anniversaries and honeymoons!).

Some of our guests spend just about all of their time right here at the Inn and tell us it's a hard place to leave. But for those who do want to get out and enjoy the area (which we highly recommend!), a scenic mountain village awaits at our doorstep. Stowe, Vermont--with its New England charm, hints of European influence, and natural beauty--has been welcoming visitors for over two centuries.

Our historic village is graced by clapboard buildings and a white steepled church. Attentive shopkeepers and local craftspeople will greet customers with a smile. The number and variety of restaurants would impress any world traveler (we are happy to provide recommendations and make reservations). And the area is legendary for outdoor adventure!

Stowe has long been known as "The Ski Capital of the East." Other winter-wonderland activities include romantic horsedrawn sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, ice skating, cross-country skiing, or just playing in the snow. In the warmer months, guests enjoy first-rate golf, hiking, canoeing, fly-fishing, antiquing, touring the Ben & Jerry's factory, and scenic drives through covered bridges, just to name a few. Whatever the season, a myriad of activities awaits visitors in the majestic Green Mountains of Vermont.
