Conveniently located in West Dover, just a little over a mile south of Mount Snow, the Snow Goose Inn is set back away from route 100 among three acres of pine, birch, maple and beech trees. You will be greeted by your hosts when you step inside the Snow Goose Inn’s grand entry way supported with 150 year old hewned beams salvaged from an old Vermont barn. We will escort you to one of the inn’s 13 luxurious rooms, each appointed with period antique furniture, private bath, cable TV, and plush featherbeds. Many of the rooms also have wood-burning fireplaces, two-person Jacuzzi tubs and private decks. All premium rooms have air conditioning. |
After we settle you into your room, come join us for complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres in the sitting room. Relax in front of the wood-burning fireplaces or out on one of our many porches overlooking the perennial gardens.
In the morning wake up to a full country breakfast served in our relaxed gardenside room. Begin your day with fresh fruits, juice, coffee or teas, and of course fresh baked muffins. This is followed by a choice of entrees including french toast, plain or fruit pancakes, savory omelettes, our own recipe maple bacon, and much more.
The Snow Goose Inn is just a short walk or drive to many fine restaurants, hiking trails, mountain biking, championship golf courses, downhill and cross-country skiing, antiquing and a multitude of other activities.
The Snow Goose Inn's gardens and living areas are ideal for small weddings, workshops, business meetings, retreats, friendly gatherings and family reunions.
We are a non-smoking, pet friendly inn and welcome children of all ages.
