Rosebelle's Victorian Inn - Brandon, Vermont Rosebelle's Victorian Inn is a stately Victorian circa 1830's grand mansard decorated with ornate Italianate filigree, listed in the national register of historic places, majestically situated within an easy stroll of historic Brandon, Vermont. This charming Victorian bed and breakfast with modern amenities offers four spacious and comfortable antique appointed guestrooms with private baths; if preferred a delightful two room suite arrangement is available sharing one central bath.

After a most restful evening, morning presents a scrumptious prepared full signature breakfast served at individual linen covered tables. Breakfast features Vermont grown and produced products; seasonal fresh fruit, flavored yogurt, choice of chilled fruit juice, delicious homemade fresh baked muffins or sweet breads with Cabot butter and locally produced jams and jellies.

First breakfast often consists of the Inn's signature specialty "Crunchy Orange French Toast" complemented with cascading warm pure Vermont maple syrup, and grilled sausages all attractively arranged and garnished. On consecutive mornings guests are served the Inns carte du jour complemented with appropriate accompaniments. Breakfast is only complete after multiple servings of delicate and aromatic fresh brewed Green Mountain Roasters coffee or your favorite serving of flavored or regular Tea.

Brandon is a quaint village nestled between Middlebury, Rutland and the central Lake Champlain valley, one of Vermont's most popular regions. Green Mountain National Forest and Moosalamoo Federal are recognized recreation areas. The Inns superb central location boasts outstanding biking, hiking and touring access to all Vermont special attractions, many historical and scenic points of interest and numerous seasonal events locally and throughout the state.

Our Vermont country roads are fun filled with excitement. As you meander along from place to place there is always something for everyone in every season. Rosebelle's is an easy drive from here to everywhere within the state. This elegant yet casual Bed and Breakfast is within easy walking distance to quaint and historic Brandon village with eclectic dining available at the local eateries; the Café Province, Watershed Tavern and Sully's or short drive to Cattails. If dining preference is lighter fare, Brandon offers a diverse menu of establishments; choice selections consist of unique sandwiches, pizza and pasta, oriental cuisine or rather just fresh baked fancy pastries or hot beverage at one of the coffee shops.

Guests often enjoy searching for those one of a kind treasures while browsing in specialty shops, visiting Briggs carriage bookstore, gift boutiques, or grazing through the Brandon artist guild and local art galleries or visit the antique shop boasting an old fashioned candy and ice cream scoop shop. Often guests take advantage of nearby opportunities, such as golfing at Neshobe, touring historic Fort Ticonderoga or visiting local museums. Attend a sport events or theater at Middlebury College or the Paramount Theater in Rutland.

Marie Antoinette Room

The most popular pastime that guests favor is relaxing on the porch, sipping chilled ice tea or lemonade, reading a good book, watching the sunset from our lawn swings or simply enjoying good conversation and laughter with new and old acquaintances. The Shirley Temple Room

Most popular and requested - located on the second level with ease of access to all first level guest areas. Furnishings include a comfortable queen size bed, plush towels, reading lamp, cozy bathrobes and relaxing boudoir chair. Room is delicately appointed with Shirley Temple memorabilia including, photo's and books. The large window emits an abundance of natural light that radiates an inviting ambiance, beautiful yellow pine floorboards, guest controlled electric heat. Large private bath with shower. No candles allowed. Maximum of two guest only.

The Marie Antoinette Room

Everyone just falls in love with this room - located on the second level with ease of access to all lower level guest areas. Furnishings include a comfortable queen size bed, reading lamps, plush towels, cozy bathrobes and relaxing sitting area. Original 20 inch extra wide pine floor boards and two large windows allows this room to emit an abundance of light that radiates a natural warm inviting ambiance. Large private bath with claw foot tub, no shower. No candles allowed. Maximum of two guest only.

The Romeo and Juliet Room

Our most romantic - is located on the third level with ease of access to all first level guest areas. Furnishings include a comfortable queen size bed, plush towels, cozy bathrobes, quiet sitting area with wicker settee and reading lamp. The room boasts a decorative tin ceiling, guest controlled electric heat, two windows and a carpeted floor for additional comfort. This room rules, for a peaceful and restful sleep. Private bath with shower. No candles allowed. Maximum of two guest only.

The Norman Rockwell Room

Unique and very popular - located on the third level with ease of access to all first level guest areas. This is a great room, its furnishings include two extra long comfortable twin beds, reading lamp, plush towels, cozy bathrobes, comfortable wicker sitting area with reading lamp and a ceiling fan. The spacious room boasts a decorative tin ceiling, guest controlled electric heat, two windows and carpeted floor for additional comfort. If you require a restful night's sleep this is your room. Private bath with shower. No candles allowed. Maximum of two guest only.

  • May thru August: $119 - $139
  • September thru December: $129 - $149
  • Lodging Fees: Exclude applicable Vermont state lodging taxes.
  • Rates subject to change without prior notification.
  • Room Fees include: Full served signature breakfast.

  • Posted rates increase slightly during Foliage Season, Holidays and Special Event Weekends.
  • Minimum two evenings, on occasion three evening stays required.
  • Settlement: Cash, Traveler and approved Personal Checks preferred.

  • Reservations: Confirm by forwarding personal check or use accepted credit card toward last evening requested. In event deposit check is not received within seven (7) days reservation will be cancelled without further notification.
  • Cancellation policy:
    • Refund granted on deposit when cancellations are made fourteen (14) days prior to scheduled arrival date.
    • Less than fourteen(14) days notice prior to your arrival date your deposit will be returned, less a $25 processing fee-only if we are able to re-book the entire reservation.
  • Call to inquire about un-advertised special room rates.
  • Rosebelle's is best recommended for adults seeking a tranquil environment.
  • Not appropriate for children under age twelve.
  • Children require separate room.
  • Check-in time is between 3 and 9 pm. Please make arrangements on travel itinerary in order to arrive prior to 9 pm check in.
  • Check-out time is 10:30am.
  • Full served breakfast between 7:30am and 9:00am

  • You need to be aware that our guest bedrooms are located on the second and third levels requiring need to climb stairs to and from rooms.
