The Cedar Glen Room
Cross the threshold and step into a deep woods Vermont country cabin. Wide pine floors with braided rugs. Cut pine and cedar walls, and plaid wall paper make this a unique room. King-sized cedar log canopy bed, fireplace, double whirlpool. It feels like your own private hideaway at the base of a mountain by a lake.

The Jonathan Cummings Suite
A grand and spacious suite offering a queen canopy bed facing a fireplace, a large dressing room with a second fireplace and hydro massage tub, and a screened and furnished mountain facing porch.

The Samuel Hodby Suite
View the fire from the king bed, sitting area, or 48-jet whirlpool for two. Traditional charm in the peace and quiet of the1795 Tavern Building. Mountain views from the shared covered porch.

The Loft
Features a king sized bed, fireplaced sitting area. Bath with shower and two-person whirlpool tub. Private sundeck accessed through French door.

Molly's Promise
Private outside entrance; spacious bed/sitting room with king-sized bed, hand-carved oak mansion bed with six foot headboard, carpeting and fireplace. Victorian decor. Generous bath features two-person whirlpool and separate double shower.

The Nest
A queen-sized bed with a white bridal tulle canopy; fireplace; sitting area; adjoining dressing room. Bath has a two-person tub; separate room contains shower. French door to private deck.

Carriage Corner
Private outside entrance, angled fireplace, and king-sized pencil post canopy bed. Bath has a two-person soak tub with dual shower heads. American Country decor. Floors are carpeted and tiled.
The Tavern's Secret
This room offers a king-sized canopy bed with fireplaced sitting area. Carpeting, bookshelves and plenty of windows. Bath has shower and two-person whirlpool tub. The "secret" of the Tavern's Secret is for lovers to discover.

The Turnabout
Offers porch and private outside entrance with an oversized original door. Colonial decor with king-sized canopy bed; fireplaced sitting area. Bath has oversized shower and two-person whirlpool tub. Handicapped accessible.

The Top of the Tavern
Former quarters of the Hodby family - the Inn's original owners. Victorian decor with four-poster queen bed, fireplaced sitting area and carpeting. Adjoining bedroom is dressing room containing a daybed. Sloped ceilings and window seats. Bath has vaulted ceiling and skylights.

Victoria's
Features a king-sized 1850's reproduction iron bed. Very Victorian in decor. Shared access to second story porch with views of the White Mountains.

The Music
Colonial decor with king-sized four-poster bed with handwoven canopy; fireplaced sitting area. Has a fainting couch, victrola, collection or 78s and an 1857 pump organ. Bright room with seven windows and offers views of the White Mountains and gardens.

The Canopy
Large fireplaced, Colonial room features a queen-sized arched canopy bed. Furnished porch.

Hampshire
English manor decor with rich wood moldings, spice tones, and embossed wallpaper. King sleigh bed looks upon the fireplaced sitting area and out to a mountain view.

Reflections
Neoclassical motif in ivory, celadon, and emerald with soft, light-reflective papers. The queen iron canopy bed faces a corner fireplaced sitting area and the view is of the White Mountains.

Classic Guest Rooms

The Rose
Country Victorian decor with queen-sized bed and demi-canopy and hand-hooked rugs on floor. Room is soft, lacy and romantic.

Caroline's
Recently renovated and named for the daughter of Jonathan Cummings. Queen-sized bed and carpeting. Access to front porch.

Mary's Wish
Newly renovated with king bed and views of the White Mountains. Ante room with daybed.

Tiffany's
Private outside entrance. Features a queen-sized, four-poster, high-framed bed and sitting area. American Country decor with carpeting and track lighting.

Rates, Reservation Information & Policies

  • Check in time: From 2:00 p.m.
  • Check out time: By 11:00 a.m.
  • Rabbit Hill is a non-smoking Inn. Guests are permitted to smoke on porches or on the grounds.
  • The Inn is appropriate for children 13 and older.
  • Though jacket and tie are not required, proper attire is expected at dinner.
  • Rabbit Hill Inn is wheelchair accessible.

  • Tariffs include lodging, breakfast, afternoon tea and service charge.
  • All rooms have private baths.
  • Most rooms air conditioned.

  • Classic Guest Rooms - $195-$230
  • Superior Guest Rooms - $250-$285
  • Luxury Guest Rooms - $325-360
  • The Jonathan Cummings Suite - $350-$385
  • Additional person, add $35
  • Dinner reservations strongly recommended when room reservations are made.

  • Two night minimum on weekends and 3 day minimum some holidays.
  • Appropriate state taxes are added to all charges. Payment may be made by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard or AmEx.

  • Deposit Policy: Reservations must be secured by a deposit equal to one night's stay - or 50% for longer stays.

  • Cancellation Policy: With at least a 14 day notice, we will gladly refund your deposit less a $30 per room processing fee. For cancellations with less than 14 days notice, deposit less $30 will be refunded provided the room is completely rebooked. Guests arriving after or departing before dates reserved, or those who fail to show, are responsible for the entire stay. Major holidays, Sept. and Oct., and special events require a 30 day notification.
