The Nutmeg Inn is situated in the heart of the Mount Snow Valley high in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. Built in 1777, the Inn has retained many of its original architectural details such as exposed beams, iron fixtures ornamenting the original doors, dormer ceilings and an original tin ceiling. The Inn today has fourteen rooms all with private baths and direct-dial telephones, central air conditioning and either queen or king sized beds. Many rooms also have wood burning-fireplaces and cable televisions. There are also large romantic suites where guests can enjoy a two person jetted whirlpool tub, televisions equipped with VCRs, large wood-buming fireplaces and beautiful valley or garden views.
